No.  Because of IRS regulations, we cannot give any refunds.  Any additional funds received will be held for one year, or if you prefer, will be used at our discretion for another team member.

 

We will send you your flight itinerary as soon as the tickets are purchased.  We try to have all tickets purchased within 3 months of travel date. 

 

The airlines allows 2 checked bags plus one carry one.  Due to possible limited space for our ground transportation we ask that you limit bags to 1 checked and one carry one.  Those from the Wichita KS area may be asked to take 2, with the second one used for ministry items.  A backpack is required and will be your carry on item.  You will carry your backpack daily.

 

We always attempt to book flights so that we will meet in a major US city before departing over seas.  Should this not be possible, based on where you are flying from, you will be giving complete information on how and where we will meet at final destination. 

 

It can be hot or cold at times.  Khaki pants or similar are advised.  Jeans are also fine.  T-shirts or button shirts are fine.  Clothing must not be tight fitting or offensive. Khaki pants or similar and business casual or formal shirt for the festival events are required (Dress Jeans are acceptable). During the safari day (if scheduled) you may wear shorts (must be modest) but keep in mind insects may be a problem and khaki pants may be the better option.  Comfortable shoes for walking in all terrain is recommended with nicer shoes for the events.  Everyone will carry a backpack with them through the day. 

 

Possibly.  We will notify you of what you will need for each country.  You can get a converter kit at most major stores.

 

Phone access may be limited in some areas, but text and e-mails have been sent to us from remote areas.  It is advised to make sure your phone carrier has an international plan, or you may incur high fees for foreign country use.  For those with ATT  they have an international package you can get good for one month that has unlimited text and a certain amount of data use for $30.  Be advised with any international package it is only good while in the country.  Use while in flight may incur additional charges.
